China will make large press of 800MN

A Multiway Die Forging Press of 800 MN, the one with the highest pressure in the world, will be made by China Erzhong. China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) held a demonstrating meeting for this project in Beijing on Nov. 29 2006.

During the meeting, the experts had a good opinion of it. Mr. Xiaoci Chen, Vice Engineer General of China Erzhong, said that they needed to make over 7 unit parts more than 250 ton in this project. It is obviously difficult.

The press will have its independent Intellectual Property Rights.
